The list of schools that we’ve worked with includes Chandler High School, Seton Catholic Prep High School, Higley High School, Saguaro High School, Canyon State Academy, Chandler Preparatory Academy, St. Mary-Basha Elementary School, Campo Verde High School, Lincoln Prep Academy, Buckeye Union High School, Maricopa High School, Raymond Kellis High School, San Tan Elementary School, and more. When it comes to custom school signage in Chandler, we feel that our collaborative approach and dedication to preserving and representing our customers’ brand makes us very well equipped to deliver satisfying and memorable results.
We form personal relationships with our clients and make an effort to understand what they need in order to deliver real solutions. Our personalized approach has been particularly effective and helpful with High School athletic programs.
Chandler High School
Following the 2013 season, Chandler High School’s football coach, Shaun Aguano was looking for a way to fund new uniforms for his team. Understanding that the program would need to fund the new uniforms, we proposed a fully fleshed out new sponsorship program to Coach Aguano that utilized advertisements on new signage at the school’s football stadium. Most notably, the program called for specialized A-Frame banners that stand along the sidelines at the team’s home games. These types of banners are visible at higher profile collegiate and professional football games but had up until that point rarely been used at the high school level in Arizona.
Chandler High School implemented the sponsorship program and it ended up being a major success; markedly increasing revenue and providing attractive professional signage for the football field. Since then, we have helped Seton Catholic Prep High School in Chandler implement a similar program with similar success. We have also produced sideline banners for Saguaro High School in Scottsdale and now there are three Arizona High Schools using sideline banners to generate revenue for their athletic programs.
Seton Catholic Preparatory High School
Spotlight Signs has filled multiple signage needs that the Seton Catholic athletic program has had over the past few years. We have provided signage for their football stadium, basketball gym, softball and baseball stadiums.
For the Seton Catholic football stadium, we have produced signage for the scoreboard, sideline A-frames (as mentioned previously), and a 175 ft long banner with the school name and logo that wraps around the track and is visible from the field. In additional to the signage we provided for the stadium we’ve also worked on locker room murals featuring the team logo and inspirational quotes and wrapped the windows of the new football office, keeping the sun out and announcing the football program’s presence on campus. The Seton football program even trusts Spotlight Signs with their strategic football operations, having us produce the posters held up to indicate the plays to their no huddle offense on the field.
Spotlight Signs has also contributed to Seton’s other sports programs. We have produced a number of banners for the basketball gym, highlighting sponsors and exceptional team and individual performances. When Seton girls basketball standout Julia Barcello won the prestigious Gatorade Girl Basketball Player of the Year award for the 2013-14 season; Spotlight Signs produced the banner that commemorates the achievement. As a result of his children’s remarkable basketball ability, we have developed a close relationship with Edward Barcello and recently produced AZCentral player of the year banners for his other daughter Sarah and son Alex.
Chandler Prep High School
When Chandler Prep Athletic Director Shawn Lytle was contemplating new mesh banners for his school’s football stadium, he knew he could trust the advice of his counterpart at Seton Catholic, Matt Mayo. Sean was referred to Spotlight Signs and was impressed with the signage we produced for his football stadium. Over the next year, he came to us with a number of smaller projects including locker room window graphics and a step and repeat banner and table cloth for the school’s “signing day” ceremony.
This past summer, Shawn tackled a long time goal to adorn the empty walls of his gymnasium with signage that emphasized the school logo and past athletic achievements. We designed, produced, and installed over 60 team achievement banners, a board highlighting former students playing at the college level, four large sponsorship banners, and one giant school logo wall graphic around the interior of the gym walls. Like all of our projects, it was a very collaborative process, involving Shawn every step of the way.
Today, Chandler High, Seton Catholic Prep, and Chandler Prep have athletic facilities that inspire their athletes, honor their past achievements, and generate more revenue for future development of their programs. Our partnerships with each of these schools has been very successful and a great illustration of our unique ability to work collaboratively with customers and be more than a mere producer of signs. Spotlight Signs and Imaging Solutions, as the name suggests, is not only in the sign production business but also in the solutions business.
